Gratitude Log #2: April 2020

Here are the things I’m grateful for, in April!

Home & Health

I know that I have said this last month but it keeps striking back to me, especially during these times. Needless to say, I have taken my home and my health for granted previously and embarrassingly enough, it took a worldwide pandemic to open my eyes.

Exercise

I am a big fan of swimming, I love it. However, due to the current situation, I could not go back to the pool. That means, doing some exercises at home and since the last month, I have been consistent with it from the very beginning. Although it’s just for 10-20 minutes a day, starting the day with some exercise gives a positive momentum to the rest of the day.

Journaling

Although, I love writing, I am not so regular with journaling. I started journaling when I was 9 years and there had been times when I gave it up completely, to the point that I completely outgrew the idea for almost 4 years of high school. I went back to journaling again, around 2016 and since then, it has been a sporadic endeavour. However, last month, I got into it more frequently than before. And it has been quite a therapeutic experience during these times.
