June has been quite a busy month for me. I wanted to write more about my solo trip and the lessons I learned, but I wasn’t able to make it in time. I’ll get back to it soon.
However, June also taught me a few things. Things that were glaringly obvious but I had turned a blind eye to until now. July will be about re-enacting those lessons with more intention.
Here are five quick lessons to carry into the month:
- Discipline > Motivation: Show up, even when you don’t feel like it.
- Protect your energy: Not everyone deserves access to you.
- Track, then tweak: What gets measured gets improved.
- Start ugly: Perfectionism delays progress.
- Say ‘no’ more: Every yes costs time, focus, or peace.
I’m not trying to change everything overnight, just trying to do a little better, a little more honestly. And frankly? July feels like a good place to start.
See you around.
